This Privacy Policy describes how Belote Note (the “App”), developed by Ion Varanita (“we”, “us”), handles your information. Belote Note is a score-keeping app for the card game Belote. We designed it to collect as little personal data as possible.
1. Information you provide
- Account (optional). If you create an account to sync your games across devices, we process your email address and authentication credentials. Accounts and sign-in are handled by Supabase, our backend provider.
- Game data. The scores, player names, and match history you enter. If you are signed in, this data is stored on our Supabase servers so it can sync to your other devices. If you are not signed in, it stays only on your device.
2. Information collected automatically
- Advertising. The free version of the App shows ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses data. Premium subscribers do not see ads.
- Subscriptions. Purchases and subscription status are processed by RevenueCat and the Apple App Store / Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details. RevenueCat processes a purchase identifier to manage your entitlement.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the App and sync your games across your devices.
- To manage your subscription and premium (ad-free) access.
- To display advertising in the free version.
- To maintain the security and reliability of the service.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Third-party services
The App relies on these processors, each with its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — accounts and game-data sync
- RevenueCat — subscription management
- Google AdMob — advertising
- Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing
5. Data retention and deletion
We keep your synced game data for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us at the address below; we will delete it within 30 days. Game data stored only on your device is removed when you delete the App.
6. Children
Belote Note is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us below.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
